Small grants available in Hull and the East Riding

04 November, 2010

City Health Care Partnership today announced the launch of a small grants programme to contribute towards the health and wellbeing of people living in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The programme, which is open to local voluntary and community organisations and/or other not-for-profit organisations to apply, will provide small grants or donations of up to £500 maximum for activities, projects or one-off events in relation to health and wellbeing.  The deadline for the first round of applications is 1 December 2010.

City Health Care Partnership has designed the process to make sure that applying for a small grant is as straightforward as possible.  There is an eligibility criterion that needs to be met, along with a short application form.

Andrew Burnell, Chief Executive of City Health Care Partnership CIC said about the scheme: “The new programme builds on our work as a socially responsible organisation, which has the health and wellbeing of our local community at the heart of what we do.

We want to connect with organisations that are at the centre of local communities and ensure our grants reach as many projects as possible.”

There are four deadlines for applications each year: 1 June, 1 September, 1 December and 1 March.  Groups and organisations will be notified by the last day of these months. The monies available for each period/quarter will be £2,000.
