Medicines Service

City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP) has a dedicated Medicines Service which works closely with all services offering support and assistance to teams with all aspects of medication from drug formulary reviews to providing guidance to non-medical prescribers.  The Medicines Service is also responsible for developing, reviewing and ratifying Patient Group Directions for all services across CHCP CIC.

Community Pharmacies

The Medicines Service Team work closely with City Health Pharmacy Ltd, a local pharmacy business acquired by City Health Care Partnership CIC in 2011. In 2013 CHCP CIC expended their pharmacy portfolio by acquiring another local pharmacy business, Brocklehurst Chemists.

CHCP CIC now has a total of 4 pharmacies ensuring they are able to provide community pharmacies across the city and increasing excellent ‘added value’ services for the local community.
