Rapid Response

East Riding Rapid Response service is for people who need urgent help for a new condition or a flare-up of an existing condition, to help keep them out of hospital and start treatment quickly. If you are referred to Rapid Response, an urgent care practitioner will come to the your home within two hours and assess you; if it's appropriate, they can start your treatment.

Rapid Response referrals have to come from a GP or other qualified clinician and they are generally for people who are housebound or too poorly to travel to an Urgent Treatment Centre to their own GP practice.
