Where there’s a wheel there’s a way
A determined team of local health visitors from City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) will be pedalling a gruelling 170 miles across the country from the west coast of England to the east coast this weekend in aid of the Institute of Health Visiting (iHV). The iHV will use the money to support research helping all children have a happy, healthy, safe and valued childhood.\r\n

NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have today announced that following a competitive tendering process, City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) has been awarded contracts to provide integrated community care, urgent care and integrated sexual health services across Hull.
Smooth moves from Hull health visitors to encourage healthy eating
On 1 August, a group of Hull Health Visitors from City Health Care Partnership CIC will be making smoothies with a bicycle to encourage healthy eating and active lifestyles in their local Hull community, as well as promote their TriHV Challenge to raise money to fund research into improving children’s lives for the Institute of Health Visiting (iHV) and also for their local charity Breathe for Cameron.
Big Latch On in Hull
It’s World Breastfeeding Week from 1 to 7 August and thousands of breastfeeding women and their babies and children across the world will gather in their own communities to take part in the Global Big Latch On, a synchronized breastfeeding event in multiple locations. Our local Big Latch On will take place at Queens Gardens in Hull on Friday 31st July at 10.30am, hosted by staff from City Health Care Partnership CIC’s children’s services.
Safer Sleep Week 16 – 23 March
Experts from City Health Care Partnership CIC and East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s public health team are reminding parents to think about where their babies are sleeping, ahead of Safer Sleep Week, which runs from 16 to 23 March.
Hull health visitors honoured at national ceremony
On 11 March 2015, NHS Change Day, Maggie Scargill and Melita Walker from City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) were two of 150 outstanding health visitors who convened at a conferment ceremony in London to receive their Fellowship of the Institute of Health Visiting (FiHV).
Sunshine House re-opens in style
Sunshine House, a facility for children and young people with complex health needs, had a grand re-opening today after being closed for just over a year from being damaged in the floods of December 2013.
Local maternity service recognised with national award
The Institute of Health Visiting and City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC), Hull have been awarded runners-up at the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Maternity (APPGM) which celebrates excellence in care for parents and their babies in the First 1,000 Days.
