Volunteering

Whether you want to learn new skills, meet new people or give your time to a worthwhile cause, City Health Care Partnership CIC offers an exciting range of volunteering opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds.  We provide a wide range of health care services to local people and with the support of volunteers we can continue to make a real difference to the lives of the people in the community.

What roles do you have?

There are many ways that you can support CHCP as a volunteer. Some of the current roles we have include:

  • Macmillan befriender volunteers
  • Publicity and promotion volunteers
  • Befrienders (telephone, face to face or email)
  • Evolve eating disorders support volunteer
  • Administration and clerical volunteers
  • Bereavement support
  • Volunteer drivers
  • Café volunteers
  • Empower Chronic disease self-management volunteers

We will always try and place volunteers in a role that is suitable to their interests and skills and there is a role for everyone. If there an area you are particularly interested in that is not listed, please get in touch to discuss other opportunities.

How much time do I have to give?

There is no minimum number of hours that you have to give to us. Where possible we will tailor the role to you and your availability, whether that be once a day or once a month.
