DFN Project Search

DFN Project SEARCH CHCP is a supported internship programme with the aim of supporting young adults with Neurodiverse Conditions and/or Learning Difficulties gain employment and transferable job skills.

Since 2021, we have worked alongside DFN Project SEARCH and Wilberforce College to provide a fantastic range of placements in our company, allowing our interns to gain a variety of skills and experience in different roles.

Roles available in the following areas are:

Catering/Cooking
Housekeeping
Administrative
IT services
Business support services
Stock
Care
Activities

Interns are supported through their placements by a Job Coach who will help them learn the skills and break down any tasks they find difficult. They will also be supported by a Facilitator, who will help them understand the ins and outs of employment and help them take their first steps into employment.

To join the course, you will to be aged between 18 and 24, need to have an active Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), live within Hull or East Riding of Yorkshire and want to get into employment.
