Deep Vein Thrombosis
The Nurse-led Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Service provides assessment and diagnosis to patients with a suspected DVT. Depending on your test results you may then have an ultrasound scan to confirm if you have a DVT.
Patients with a positive result will then be commenced on appropriate treatment and then referred to our Anticoagulation Service for ongoing monitoring.
