Specialist Weight Management

Our team provide specialist support for both adults and children in Hull.

We help adults lose weight and keep it off in the long term. For children, we focus on achieving a healthy BMI rather than weight loss because children are still growing and developing.

We will work with you/your child to understand your medical, dietary, physical activity and psychological needs and  develop a personal treatment plan. You/your child will be fully involved in the process throughout.

You will be seen by a highly qualified team of different health professionals:

Who do we see?
  • Adults registered with a Hull GP and a BMI over 40 (or BMI over 35 with a co-morbidity – High Blood Pressure, Type 2 Diabetes, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Asthma, Coronary Heart Disease/Cardiovascular Disease, Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, Stroke/Transient Ischaemic Attack, Musculoskeletal, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
  • Children aged 4 + years (must be attending school) with a BMI on or above 98th Centile who are registered with a Hull GP
