Advice on Request
Following a telephone or face to face appointment you may be transferred to Advice on Request.
If you are transferred to Advice on Request, we will not contact you to review your progress, but you can contact us if you need our help within six months of your last appointment.
You can contact us by telephone on 01482 335165, or by email chcp.slt@nhs.net
If you do not contact us, your Advice on Request referral will be discharged after six months.
If we have been supporting you with swallowing difficulties, you should contact us for advice if you are worried about any of the following:
- New or repeated chest infections
- Increased coughing when eating or drinking.
- Not being able to eat or drink enough.
- Choking episodes
