Humber, Coast and Vale Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP)
Guidance published by NHS England in December 2015 asked every health and care system to come together to create their own ambitious local blueprint for accelerating the implementation of the Five Year Forward View. These blueprints, known as Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STPs), set a clear vision for how the challenges presented in the Five Year Forward View will be met at a local level by 2020/21.
On the road for those who care
Carers Week starts on 6th June and to celebrate, the Carers’ Information and Support Service (CISS) is taking to the road. CISS will be rolling out their information bus to offer support, information and guidance to unpaid carers across Hull.

Andrew Burnell, chief executive of City Health Care Partnership CIC, has been named as one of the commissioners of a national report by Lord Victor Adebowale. ‘Get well soon: reimagining place-based health’ argues that health services need to move away from treatment and focus more on prevention to help scarce resources to stretch further.
