Dying Matters Awareness Week 2016 is taking place from 9 May and once again City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) are getting involved. Dying Matters Awareness week takes place every year during May, to promote the importance of talking about dying, death and bereavement.

Will Dennison, (11), recently came to his friend’s rescue using skills learned on an IMPS (Injury Minimisation Programme for Schools) training course run by City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC). IMPS have trained over 27,700 year 6 pupils since the project was first launched in 2001.
Giroscape Gardens: from rubble to rhubarb
Giroscape Community Association is transforming a city back garden on Coltman Street from an overgrown rubbish dump to a community asset that can be enjoyed and worked in by people with a range of mental and physical health problems. Thanks to a £1,000 grant from City Health Care Partnership Foundation, the work is progressing swiftly and local people are already starting to benefit.
New sexual health clinics coming to Hornsea and Withernsea
Clinics for women and men will soon be available in Hornsea and Withernsea thanks to Conifer sexual and reproductive healthcare services, run by City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) in association with East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Public Health team.
