Huyton with Roby Sea Cadets

The Sea Cadets purpose is to celebrate Britain’s maritime heritage and contribute to its future development by supporting young people as Sea Cadets. Those attending Huyton with Roby Sea Cadets (based in Merseyside) come from deprived backgrounds with a poor education so in joining the cadets they aim to heighten their self esteem, personal confidence, healthly lifestyle and an appreciation of the environment in local young people. They applied for a CHCP grant to assist them with the continual development of the organisation and the grant awarded will contribute towards the purchase of two new boats.
