Kingston Community Association

In a community where there has been an increasing number of people moving to the neighbourhood from the African, European and Asian continents, Kingston Community Association work hard to ensure that the new members of the community feel welcomed at the Mitchell Community Centre.

The grant provided by CHCP Foundation will help to deliver a programme of activities over the first quarter of 2015, comprising of Welcoming in the New Year, Half-term Activities Week and Spring Awakens. These activities will be inclusive and welcoming, enabling children, young people and their families to share the customs and traditions of their own cultural identity as they contribute to creating a new community identity that everybody can feel a part of.
