Millbrook Park Millennium Green Trust

The Millbrook Park Millennium Green Trust aims to promote the use of open green space, they do this by providing activities and events in Millbrook Park. In 2013 the Kirkby Festival was held and after attracting 4,000 residents with 500 participant and volunteers, was deemed a great success.

A small grant was awarded in June 2014 to contribute towards a community festival on the Millbrook Park Millennium Green. The festival will provide information about services and activities available to the community throughout the year, increasing participation and engagement and improving quality of life.

Information will be given on subjects such as health, environment and housing, whilst some of the activities available will be sports, arts and crafts.

The CHCP Foundation small grant will fund a large information and environment marquee as well as free arts, crafts and face painting available to children and young people .
