West Hull Under 7s Rugby League Team

West Hull under 7s Rugby Team League Team is to provide both boys and girls of all cultures and backgrounds to enjoy and take part in a sporting activity. It provides a safe and friendly environment for the children to learn and play rugby and be part of a team.

The children train once a week where they learn rugby skills as well as exercise which is important to their health and wellbeing. Respect and fair play is practised by the coaches and the team management.

The club is run through volunteers and they also actively encourage the parents to volunteer and assist in different areas of the team. Parents also take part in fundraising events. The club promotes a sense of community and belonging for the children and their parents.

West Hull under 7’s Rugby Team League Team were awarded a grant by the CHCP Foundation in September 2014 to enable them to provide training equipment and playing kits for the current 15 children who play in the team. The playing kits would create an identity for the team in the club colours as well as providing funding for necessary safety equipment.
