Out of Hours Nursing
The Out of Hours Nursing Service is a continuation of the day time Community Nursing Service, which provides nursing care to people living in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Throughout the evening and night time, patients, carers and other out of hours care providers can ring for nursing care or advice in a crisis to help with things like symptom and pain control, catheter care, assessment for changes in clinical condition or a verification of expected death.
To access the service you must:
- Be 18 years or over
- Live in the Hull and East Riding area
- Be an existing community nursing or treatment room patient
- Need urgent unplanned care that needs an out of hours response
